Last night I had a weird dream (or nightmare if you want to call it). It started out with my colleague who is currently searching for a new home moves to my basement!
I started dreaming about carpool and no more driving for half hour stuck in highway traffic, cursing drivers and be attentive at 7am in the morning nor taking the back-roads and waiting for the school children to cross the road (when can't they build underpass instead of sidewalks--it makes so much sense one road for driving and one for walking!).
However, back to the dream. Then all of sudden I'm in my hometown and more colleagues are moving into next blocks.
Then all of the sudden our manager (ofcourse my manger is like all other mangers in the world--if you get what i mean!)
We all start getting together and discussing how now the manager will know what time we leave the house and what time we will be back!
Hmm.....not that I don't like to work longer but on days when your whole day goes without executing a single test case and just verify stupid bugs (oh god why do I log sooo many bugs!).
Oh why is not executing test case a bad thing. That's because we though our deadline is month away, my manager came along and told us that its just a buffered date but we need to finish the work earlier!
So...telling him again what is the whole purpose of a deadline???
